Please note the following when locating summer reading assignments:
Student schedules have not yet been released. They will be made available later this summer (normally in July).
Placement for English and Math is based on whether a student has already earned high school credit for English and/or Math in middle school.
9th Grade English:
Rising 9th grade students who did not earn a high school English credit in 8th grade will be scheduled for Honors Literature & Composition I.
Rising 9th grade students who earned high school credit for English I in 8th grade will be scheduled for Honors Literature & Composition II.
9th Grade Math:
Rising 9th grade students who did not earn a high school Algebra credit in 8th grade will be scheduled for Algebra I.
Rising 9th grade students who earned high school credit for Algebra I in 8th grade will be scheduled for Geometry.
Rising 9th grade students who earned high school credit for Algebra I AND Geometry in middle school will be scheduled for Algebra II.
