Asynchronous Remote Learning (ARL) Days

SCCPSS offers an Asynchronous Remote Learning option to provide students with an opportunity to participate remotely when they are unable to attend school in person.

Students will be granted a maximum of 5 days per school year. Rather than being marked absent, students can arrange to participate virtually, complete the work and be marked present for a maximum of 5 days. In order to take advantage of this option, parents must notify the school using the Asynchronous Remote Learning Request Form linked below PRIOR to the absence.

Students must then participate virtually in completing assigned work and submitting assignments. While some assignments can be completed virtually, teachers may require students to complete missed assignments or assessments.

To submit an Asynchronouse Remote Learning Request, visit the Power School link below. After logging onto Power School, the Asynchronous Remote Learning Request can be found under the 'Forms' menu.
