What is PowerSchool?
- PowerSchool is the student information system used by all schools in SCCPSS.
- PowerSchool is used on a school level for scheduling, taking attendance, storing grades, and more.
- PowerSchool is used by students to see their grades, attendance, and teacher assignments.
What is PowerSchool Parent Portal?
- Parent Portal provides access for parents to their child's grades, attendance, assignments, and more.
- Parent Portal allows parents/guardians to set up an email address to receive reports.
- All parents/guardians who have students in SCCPSS have access to PowerSchool.
How do I request a Parent Access Account for PowerSchool?
Already have an account?
- If you’ve had a Parent Portal Account through SCCPSS in previous school years, the account should still be valid and no further action is required!
Forgot your password or never had a Parent Access account?
- If you do not have a Parent Access Account on Power School, or if you’ve forgotten your login, please use the link below to either request an account, or to have your account credentials enabled and updated!
Using a Parent Access Account
Download the Mobile App
- PowerSchool Mobile can be downloaded from the app store on your phone and can be used on iOS or on Android! It is by far the easiest way to access PowerSchool, however, if you wish not to use the app, PowerSchool Parent Access can also be found on the ‘Families’ tab of the SCCPSS website (sccpss.com) and logged onto via a web browser.
- After downloading the mobile app to your device, configure the app to recognize the the Savannah/Chatham County School District. Our District Code is PQPM. You will sign into the app using your username and password.
PowerSchool Mobile App Dashboard:
- The PowerSchool Mobile app gives parents convenient access to their student's academic information.
- With a Parent Access account, you can monitor grades, attendance, assignments, schedules, report cards, access district forms and tools, and find other important school information, helping you stay connected to your student's progress throughout the school year.
