Brightspace Parent Access

A D2L Brightspace parent account helps parents stay informed by providing access to their child's assignments, grades, and course updates, making it easier to support their academic success.

Creating a Parent Account on Brightspace

• From the SCCPSS.com homepage, click the Families tab.
• Under Student & Parent Tools, click the Brightspace: Parent Access link.
• Use your Power School login credentials to log into Brightspace (if you forgot your password click the Forgot your password link).
• Families with multiple SCCPSS students may choose which students’ account activity they’d like to view from the main parent/guardian page after successfully logging in to their parent Brightspace account.
• Once the student is chosen, parents/guardians can see the student's upcoming assignments, including instructions, materials, grades, feedback, and teacher announcements for the next two weeks.
